I study sociology of technical work, especially biological sciences, computing and medicine. I also think a lot about social science research methods, especially ways of conducting qualitative research and supporting it with information systems. Currently, I'm engaged in a study of collaboration in a network of scientists, and I'm looking at the ways in which multiple specialties interact.
